Whew, it's been a busy week! Here's a little recap of our Halloween adventures.
We started the afternoon out by heading to ancestry.com for their family Halloween carnival. We ate popcorn, stood in line at the photo booth, and got a bag of candy. There were tons of events and games going on, but Robert put it perfectly--we happened to fit the two age groups who didn't have much to do--adults and babies. That's ok, it was fun to dress up and go out!
We headed home and after a quick dinner went to the neighborhood trunk or treat. Tommy loved that. He just hung out in the stroller looking at everyone, biting his lower lip, and going "Mmmmm mmm."

After the trunk or treat, our dear friends joined us at our house for the annual Halloween costume party
Annie and Erin as tourists/vacationers |
Lauren and Dustin as bakers...with a bun in the oven! Hooray! |
Yes, that was very exciting news! Lauren took this special holiday to let us know that another little Griffiths will be joining us in May. We are all so excited!
I usually have some games for us to play, but we only made it through one Halloween madlib this time. Next year we'll plan better for the games--but it was great to just talk and eat treats (as if we hadn't had enough treats by this time)
We thought the boys looked so funny socializing with their cider and crazy hats |
And the next day, Tommy turned four months old.
Wow, he's getting big! And cuter by the second.
Happy November, all. Time to be thankful! And boy are we ever :-)
