This past Sunday morning, we had just finished eating breakfast (I actually made something--biscuits! Well it was Sunday morning, after all), and everyone had a full belly. We weren't in a rush anywhere, because we had plenty of time to get ready before church. Thomas was playing happily with his toys, talking and making the funniest sounds while experimenting with his language skills. The morning sunshine was streaming through our windows. I went over and gave Robert a hug. While he was holding me, I realized I was so happy. I was joyful. This was a perfect moment. On that calm, slow, nothing special, crazy hair Sunday morning I was exactly where I wanted to be and doing what I wanted to be doing (without me even realizing it). What's more--we were ALL where we wanted to be. It was a family perfect moment. And I guess that's what made it so perfect.
Here's to noticing all the perfect moments in our lives!
Perfect! I agree. Thank you.
