Only 5 days late in celebrating the beginning of my favorite month!
Only on the blog, of course. We've been celebrating big at our house. :-)
We rang in the new month by starting out with ghost french toast, per Tommy's request. I think this will be an October 1st tradition in our house!
Of course, we did more than ghosts. Cats, pumpkins, witches--but Tommy liked the ghosts the best.
After a yummy breakfast, we headed to the stake plot to harvest our pumpkin patch!

And we decorated the porch. I need to take a picture of the whole porch--this is only a picture of my latest craft project: re-doing the vinyl on this cool window. But you get a small idea of what our porch looks like--a pumpkin patch of its own!
It's been a fun and chilly October so far. We're excited to keep celebrating!
And of course, what would October be without a clue to our COSTUME REVEAL?!?!
Here's the first hint!!
Hint #1: If you know Tommy at all, you can probably guess what he will be. That is your first clue to our family costumes.
Any guesses on the whole thing??
Happy Haunting!
