Act 1; Scene 25: A Sweet Accomplishment

BREAKING NEWS

Tonight, our ward had a closing social. They had a sign up for bringing food. In church, Robert signed up to bring a salad, I signed up to bring a side, and I also signed up to enter the dessert contest.

Hey, if you're gonna participate, you might as well go all the way, right?

Don't worry; we ended up bringing only a side (baked beans) and a dessert (pumpkin crunch). The prize for the dessert contest was a gift certificate to Cold Stone Creamery. And guess what?

WE WON THE DESSERT CONTEST!!!!!!!!!

What? Really? Something that I, Carson, made (with the help of Robert, of course) won a deliciousness contest?!

There is hope for me, after all :-)
